Community rules

Lists on Livelist can be public. Anyone with the link can read them, and people who use the app can follow them, fork them and see how your taste matches theirs. These rules keep that safe. They apply to everything a stranger can see: list names, the "Why I made this" note, entries and their notes, pictures and picture credits, handles, display names and the images made for sharing.

We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. If you break these rules, we take the content down and we may remove you from sharing or from Livelist.

What is not allowed

How we check

Before a stranger can see a public list, an automatic check reads its text and pictures. If the check isn't sure, a person at Livelist looks. You can still see your own list while it waits.

What we do

You'll always be told what happened and why, by email and in the app.

Three removals in 90 days stop your sharing for 30 days, until a person at Livelist confirms or reverses it.

Report something

In the app, tap More on a list, or touch and hold an entry, and choose Report. You can also block a person from there, so you won't see each other's public lists. On the web, use the report form. We read every report and act on it within 24 hours.

Ask for a review

If we hid or removed something of yours and you think we got it wrong, open it in the app and tap Ask for a review. A person looks at it. If a moderator took it down, email hello@livelist.com.au and say which list or entry, and why you think we got it wrong.

Your own lists

Household lists and household chat are not public. Only the people you invite can see them, and these rules cover how people treat each other there, too. Report a person from the app and we will look.
